Kauffman Foundation's Heartland Initiative
In this episode of Pathways to Rural Prosperity Podcast, Don Macke hosts Chris Harris, Senior Program Officer, from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. This episode focuses on the Foundation’s commitment to the four states adjacent to the Foundation’s home in Kansas City including Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa. This new commitment is referred to as the Heartland Initiative. Chris is part of the Foundation’s leadership and program team that has envisioned and is now executing a collection of investments into entrepreneurship in the heartland states.
