Monday, March 16, 2015
Washington, D.C.

The Center is partnering with The Aspen Institute Community Strategies Group to present "Advancing Economic Success – Community Foundations Building Family, Community and Regional Prosperity," a 2-day workshop March 16-17. This peer exchange workshop will provide an opportunity for community foundation leaders (staff, board, and volunteers) to more deeply explore and share how they are addressing critical community issues and working to advance regional development in ways that build wealth for all. Using the organizing framework of Community Development Philanthropy, you will hear stories from community foundations that are helping families get ahead and those that are helping local and regional economies get ahead. As you listen to your peers and share your own insights, you will be developing Action Idea Takeaways as next steps for when you return home.
